    We used Alta Vista Builders to build a large, 6 bedroom, 5 bath custom log home in Grand Lake, Colorado, as they have extensive experience and a skilled local crew associated with Jeremiah Johnson Log Homes based in Colorado. At first, I was hesitant to use a builder from out of state (TX), but his crew was local and Tim Stegall (owner of Alta Vista) was extremely communicative and responsive and spent a full day onsite once a month during our 20-month-long process. He was available anytime I had questions, and always had a positive can-do attitude.
